Senator Orji Uzor Kalu noted that President Tinubu is aware about of the economic challenges Nigeria is facing.
In an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today, he stated that President Tinubu is aware of all that is happening and is working hard to ensure that the challenges are tackled.
He also mentioned that the President sometimes drives around in Abuja to gather information himself in order to know the next step to take. He described the President as a ‘street person’. This shows that he is concerned about the difficult times Nigerians are facing.
He stated that the other countries have not been able to bounce back to its normal state after COVID-19. The same applies to Nigeria showing that other countries are involved too.
“The impact of COVID-19 is still affecting economies globally. The only reason some countries are no longer feeling the COVID-19 impact the way Nigeria is feeling it is because they have built a robust economy for a very long period,” he said.
