SSANU gives FG a condition before ending the strike

The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) has outlined the conditions to be met by the Federal Government before they end the strike.

The president of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) noted that the workers must receive an alert of the salaries that the government owned them, if not ,none of them would resume work in the institution.

While speaking on Channels Television’s politics today,he mentioned that the workers are being owned four month salaries and it is all with the Ministry of Finance.

He emphasized on how the strike would last until the government meet with their condition.

He said, “The issue is that we want payment and every procedure has been followed. They can simply direct payment of the money. I assure you that in less than 24 hours we will refer back to our principal and the strike will be suspended.”
