President Tinubu orders for the rescue the helicopter crash victims

President Bola Tinubu has given directives that urgent actions be taken to find and rescue the people involved in the helicopter crash .

This incident occurred on Thursday near Bonny Finima in the Atlantic Ocean.

The helicopter was being operated by East Winds Aviation and it was registered under 5NBQG. It was on its way NNPC Limited facility, FPSO—NUIMS ANTAN.

In the statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, President Tinubu called on military personnel in the region to collaborate with Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB), the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, and other relevant agencies to rescue the people involved.

The President expressed his sincere condolences to the Board and staff of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and also to the bereaved families who lost their loved ones.
