PDP adjournes National Executive Committee meeting

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has declared that the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting has been adjourned to be scheduled for October 24, 2024.

The purpose of the meeting is to address the internal conflict within the party and appoint a new acting National Chairman.

The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed and the Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum announced it after stakeholders’ meeting on Tuesday.

The Acting National Chairman Iliya Damagum, members of the Party’s Board of Trustees, and the National Working Committee (NWC), were all present in the meeting and they resolved to postpone the meeting to November 28,2024.

Governor Mohammed stated that the postponement will help the party to focus on the Ondo Gubernatorial election, scheduled for November 16, 2024.
