Nigeria military troops shot two bandits attempting to collect ransom

Two bandits trying to collect a ransom of N1.5 million were shot dead by Nigeria military troops. This incident occurred in Mai-Iddo village, located in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The bandits had four hostages which includes three women and a child. They were attempting to collect ransom for the abduction when they met their doom.

Sources have it that the military troops , local vigilantes and the family of one of the victims collaborated together to ensure they captured the bandits.

According to reports, the community leader stated, “The arrangements had been concluded with the troops with the man who will be taking the ransom to them and a vigilante. On getting to the particular location, the troops took cover.

‘’As two of the bandits came out to pick the ransom, the troops opened fire at them and killed the two of them instantly.”

The trap was able to capture the bandits who were shot dead and the victims abducted were set free. The abducted victims were able to meet their families again.
