The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has cautioned the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, ahead of the Ondo governorship election which will be held on November 16.
The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stated that All Progressives Congress (APC) will be defeated in the election.
Makinde’s statement was as a result of Ganduje’s assertion that All Progressives Congress (APC) will dominate Southwest states when it eventually wins.
Ganduje stated, “We assure you that Tinubu is the best we have and we must deliver a 100 percent in favour of APC in this election and in the South West region. We assure you we are strategising to take over the two other states in this region.”
Makinde stated that the PDP should be committed to winning the gubernatorial race.
During the campaign rally in Akoko, Makinde stated, “The people of the South West of Nigeria are wiser, especially in Ondo State.”
“You can see the crowd; look at the enthusiasm. On November 16th, they will tell him (Ganduje) that Ondo State and indeed Southwest are for the PDP.”
