Supporters of Nigerian singer Portable has criticized him for confronting social media activist Very Dark Man after being accused of assaulting someone.
According to reports from NaijaTraffic, social media activist Very Dark Man accused singer Portable of physically assaulting a man in a restroom at the Felabration event in Lagos, sharing footage of the alleged incident and advocating for Portable’s arrest while encouraging the victim to come forward
Going on, Portable responded with a video on Instagram, dismissing Very Dark Man’s accusations and warnings, Portable replies Very Dark Man as he makes case against online bullying following alleged assault videoboasting that his online persona is nothing compared to his real-life reputation, and daring the activist to investigate his credentials in Abuja.
Going on Portable urged his fans and supporters to promote positivity and kindness online, condemning cyberbullying and encouraging them to stand against internet harassment.
Contrary to his expectations, Portable’s fans largely turned against him, criticizing his decision to confront the activist and refusing to rally behind him amidst the controversy.
