Fred Itua has been appointed as the Chief Press Secretary by the Edo State’s Governor-elect, Monday Okpebholo. This was his first appointment at the governor-elect of Edo State.
It was announced a day before the Edo State’s Governor-elect Monday Okpebholo is set to assume office.
The Chief Press Secretary’s appointment which will take effect on November 12, 2024, marks the first official designation of the incoming administration.
Fred Itua will commence with his work immediately after Okpebholo’ swearing in.
Fred Itua worked as a journalist and the former Assistant Political Editor for The Sun newspaper.
The Governor-elect of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo is currently taking over from the outgoing Governor Godwin Obaseki as his tenure ends.
