Burna Boy shares how he views the world right now

Burna Boy offers words of wisdom, urging individuals to focus on their journey and rise above rivalry, as the street’s has changed.

Burna Boy shared a photo with his crew and noted that times have changed, stating, “The streets aren’t what they used to be; old rules no longer apply, and everyone’s on equal footing now.”

Burna Boy advised those with rivals to take legal action instead, saying “No more sliding, take them to court and claim your money!”

The streets ain’t what it used to be. The old rules no longer apply. The way I see it, Everybody is a civilian now.

No more sliding. Just sue your opps to court and take their money”.

Burna Boy’s advice comes after he petitioned against Speed Darlington for alleged cyberstalking, leading to Darlington’s detention by the IRT team in Abuja, prompting his mother to appeal to Burna Boy for his release.

Speed Darlington was released on bail after three days in detention, having met the conditions set by the police at the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team’s Department in Abuja.

Going on Burna Boy clashed with a Twitter user who joked that he was visiting Diddy’s house, not Obi’s. Burna Boy retorted, daring the user to reveal their identity so he could locate their home.

Burna Boy recently boasted about surpassing his former idols’ wealth, recalling how, growing up, he thought only politicians, oil moguls, and “G boys” earned significant wealth, while music wasn’t considered a lucrative career.

Burna Boy shared his rags-to-riches story, encouraging fans to never underestimate others, as anyone can become the next big success, like Elon Musk, emphasizing his journey from admiring wealthy individuals to surpassing them financially.

Burna Boy went ahead to share surprising self-reflections, expressing nostalgia for his past self, acknowledging personal growth and newfound softness, which his former self would have misunderstood as weakness.

In July, Burna Boy clarified that he doesn’t employ songwriters, stating that credited names on his songs are producers or featured artists, not writers. He explained that in the Western music industry, producers are considered instrumental writers, hence their credits. Burna Boy proudly proclaimed himself an “Odogwu,” emphasizing that he pens his own music.
